On Monday, September 7, 2020, a delegation from the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Japan, including Mr. Yuri Sirprin-Syranovitsky, Counsellor for Bilateral Relations and Political Affairs, and Mr. Igor Titov, Counsellor for Cultural Affairs, visited the Fuel Cell and Nano materials Research Center.
? The visit was organized as part of a program to promote exchange between Yamanashi Prefecture and Russia, with Prof. Akihiro Iiyama, Director of the? Research Center, and Prof. Junji Inukai, Professor of the Clean Energy Research Center, giving a tour of the facility. The counsellors had a productive discussion with Prof. Iiyama and others, and expressed their interest in fuel cell research, a promising next-generation energy source.
